Cancer Resource & Education Centre (CaRE) will organize Continuous Professional Development Workshop on Cancer CaRE: Treatment, Support and Healing. We invite nurses, doctors, cancer volunteers. Below is the details of the program:

General Objective:

To provide insight on the need of holistic approach in cancer care (treatment, support and healing) and to explore and discuss how cancer care providers can help patients and survivors in their healing process.

9.00-10.00   : Session 1: Introduction to Workshop : When Diagnosed with Cancer: Need for Treatment,                          

                    Support, and Healing by Prof. Dr. Rosemary Caffarella

10.00-12.00 : Cancer and Conventional Treatment for Cure by Prof. Norlia Abdullah

12.00-1.00   : Role of Information and Educational Resource in Cancer Cure and Healing: Visit to Cancer                       

                   Resource Center (CaRE). Facilitator : Dr. Othman Omar

1.00-2.00    : Lunch

2.00-5.00    : Session 2: Support and Healing in the Cancer Journey : Introduction to round table  

                   discussion by Prof. Dr. Rosemary Caffarella
