This year, Kanser Network Selangor & Wilayah Persekutuan Association (KanWork) in collaboration with Cancer Resource & Education Center (CaRE) successfully organized Kembara Kesedaran Kanser (3K) at Tanjong Karang, Selangor. This program was held on 13th & 14th October 2012. For information, 3K is an annual event organized by KanWork and CaRE engaging local community and partners. The office of Parliament for Tanjong Karang as local partners has given full support to 3K in terms of venue, local promotions and encouraging participation of local community, and Dewan Undangan Negeri (DUN) Permatang, Sungai Terap has been our host for that event. 3K activities were also supported by Pergerakan Puteri UMNO Bahagian Tanjong Karang, Lembaga Penduduk & Pembangunan Keluarga Negeri (LPPKN) Selangor (subsidized mammogram registration) and Klinik Kesihatan Tanjong Karang (Clinical breast examination). The second day activity began with the Qi Gong exercise early in the morning, followed by post-mortem for the cancer awareness activity and end of the program was a visit to MHP Enterprise, one of the biggest manufacturers and distributors of chips in Malaysia.
