14th July 2012 – Our monthly education program: Cancer Recurrence: Prevention & Treatment was presented by Prof Nur Aishah Mohd Taib (Consultant Breast Surgeon Department of Surgery, Faculty of Medicine, University of Malaya). The program held in collaboration with Kanser Network Selangor & Wilayah Persekutuan (KanWork) was attended by 81 participants.

In her presentation, Prof Nur Aisyah told
that cancer will recur at any time after post treatment. Some cases will take
about 5 years, 10 years or maybe more. In order to prevent the cancer recur,
survivors should always take a good care of themselves.
